PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Billy Horschel made an 18-foot birdie putt down the slope, and Patrick Cantlay clinched the match with one other clutch chip because the Atlanta Drive gained the inaugural TGL title on Tuesday evening by coming again for a 4-3 victory over New York.
Atlanta gained each matches within the best-of-three TGL finals that wrapped up the primary season of the high-tech indoor league on the SoFi Heart.
New York led your entire match and was up 3-2 on the 14th gap when Horschel delivered the most important shot of the evening. Atlanta threw a “hammer” problem that New York accepted, making the penultimate gap price two factors. Rickie Fowler was in a bunker.
