27- yr previous Joshua Byers, from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire was buried by an avalanche at Val Thorens an inquest heard.
The loss of life occurred after an historic April snowstorm.
He was close to the roadside in Val Thorens when he was swept up and carried 15m by an avalanche on seventeenth April.

Mr Byers was taken to hospital in Grenoble the place he was pronounced lifeless.
An inquest into Mr Byers’ loss of life, which opened at Northallerton Coroner’s Courtroom and was informed the provisional reason for loss of life was asphyxia.
Coroner Jon Heath adjourned the inquest to a future date on the identical venue.
