The NBA is launching an investigation into allegations that Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers dedicated a wage cap circumvention violation.
“We’re conscious of this morning’s media report concerning the LA Clippers and are commencing an investigation,” stated NBA spokesman Mike Bass.
Leonard allegedly obtained an endorsement deal price $28 million over 4 years from an organization with ties to Steve Ballmer.
The NBA beforehand conduced an investigation into Leonard and the Clippers in 2019 after he signed with the franchise in free company.
