British Columbia — After a snowy winter and even some June snowboarding, a number of enhancements have been made at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort.
This week, Mt. Washington Alpine Resort revealed what work they did over the offseason on the mountain. This offseason, Pacific Group Resorts (the proprietor of Mt. Washington) spent $3 million (presumably Canadian {dollars}) on numerous initiatives on the ski resort.
A number of the highlights embody brush-cutting terrain, night-skiing enhancements, mechanical upgrades to the Hawk and Whiskey Jack chairlifts, including snowmaking to the tubing park, buying two new snowcats and an excavator, new rental tools, and a brand new bus to move skiers to the bottom space.
The lodge was a precedence level. Upgrades included refreshing a number of areas, including a brand new bartop to the pub, revamping the meals and beverage menu because of a brand new govt chef, and creating a brand new apres area upstairs.
Mt. Washington’s projected opening day is Friday, December twelfth.
