Frank Martin has indicated he is able to return to the ring following his latest knockout win, however no subsequent battle has been formally introduced.
Martin posted on social media this week that he’s “able to battle once more” after stopping Rances Barthelemy within the fourth spherical on December 6 in San Antonio, Texas. The bout marked Martin’s first look at tremendous light-weight.
The win ended an prolonged layoff for Martin, who had not fought since his knockout loss to Gervonta Davis in 2024. The battle in opposition to Barthelemy occurred on the undercard of a PBC on Prime Video occasion.
As of late December 2025, no return date has been introduced for Martin, and no bout has been confirmed by promoters or sanctioning our bodies. No negotiations for a follow-up battle have been reported publicly.
Martin has not commented on particular opponents or timelines for the reason that December bout. His plans for early 2026 haven’t been introduced.
