Iowa Wild defenseman David Špaček has been named to the 25-man roster for the Czech males’s Olympic ice hockey crew to compete within the 2026 Milano Cortina Video games.
Špaček has tallied two targets and 14 assists in 32 video games for Iowa this season. The fifth-round choice by Minnesota within the 2022 NHL Draft has totaled 9 targets and 50 assists for 59 factors in 165 AHL video games over three seasons with the Wild.
Špaček has represented Czechia at a number of worldwide tournaments, successful a gold medal on the 2024 IIHF World Championship and a silver medal on the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship.
