The Milwaukee Admirals have signed ahead Daniel Carr to a two-year American Hockey League contract.
Carr returns to North American after spending the final four-plus seasons with HC Lugano within the Swiss Nationwide League. In 2024-25, he completed second on the membership in scoring with 46 factors (17 targets, 29 assists) in 39 video games.
Carr received the Les Cunningham Award because the AHL’s most useful participant in 2018-19, when he set profession highs with 30 targets, 41 assists, 71 factors and a plus-35 ranking in 52 video games with the Chicago Wolves. His final stint within the AHL got here in 2019-20, when he tallied 23 targets and 27 assists in 47 video games with Milwaukee.
In 238 profession AHL contests with Milwaukee, Chicago, Laval, St. John’s and Hamilton, Carr has totaled 104 targets and 107 assists for 211 factors. He performed within the AHL All-Star Basic in 2019, and reached the Calder Cup Finals that spring with the Wolves.
A local of Sherwood Park, Alta., Carr has performed 117 video games within the NHL with Montreal, Vegas, Nashville and Washington, registering 16 targets and 21 assists.
