Eric Butorac named US Open Match Director

The USTA has turned to a former participant as new US Open Match Director.

 Eric Butorac, USTA Senior Director, Participant Relations and Enterprise Improvement, and former Prime-20 doubles professional and ATP Participant Council President, has been named the subsequent Match Director of the US Open.

Butorac will start his tenure as US Open Match Director in 2026. Butorac succeeds Stacey Allaster, who will proceed serving as USTA Chief Government, Skilled Tennis, earlier than transitioning to a strategic advisor position in Could of 2026.
