Former Dodgers Pitcher Acquired By Cardinals

This former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is on the transfer once more.

Left-hander Justin Bruihl is returning to the Nationwide League after being acquired by one among LA’s largest rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Cardinals acquired Bruihl from the Cleveland Guardians in change for money concerns. The deal was introduced earlier this week. 

The 28-year-old from Petaluma, California, began his skilled profession with the Dodgers. He signed with the Dodgers as an undrafted free agent in the summertime of 2017. Bruihl was assigned to the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League the next season to start his skilled profession.

Previous to the 2023 MLB commerce deadline, the Dodgers dealt Bruihl to the Colorado Rockies in change for money concerns.
