Jonathon Elliott has been named an assistant coach at Air Drive.
Elliott replaces Josh Holmstrom, who served on the employees from 2022 to 2025.
“We’re very excited to have Jonathon Elliott becoming a member of our employees,” Air Drive head coach Frank Serratore mentioned in a press release. “Jon is available in with an awesome status and possesses each school {and professional} teaching expertise. The experience he brings to this system will allow him to hit the bottom operating and make a direct affect.”
Elliott spent the 2024-25 season as an assistant coach with the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings. Whereas with the Wings, Elliott coached the power-play unit, assisted with recruiting, free agent signings, on-ice talent periods, planning and conducting practices and conferences, analyzing recreation footage and the event and analysis of gamers.
Previous to his time in Kalamazoo, Elliott spent two seasons at Miami. In 2022-23, he was the director of hockey operations the place he managed all elements of journey and scheduling and led all video recording and modifying initiatives. Within the 2023-24 season, he served as an assistant coach, aiding with on-ice practices, recruiting, scouting studies and educational progress.
A 2016 graduate of Saint Mary’s, he was a four-year letterman as a ahead, enjoying in 62 profession video games. He served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from 2018 to 2022.
