The College of Iowa had agreed to phrases with Drake College’s Ben McCollum as their subsequent males’s basketball head coach. McCollum was at Drake for one season and led the Bulldogs to a 31-4 document and their first NCAA Match win since 1971.
McCollum was previously the top coach of Division II program Northwest Missouri State. In 15 seasons, McCollum led this system to 4 Division II nationwide championships.
Iowa fired Fran McCaffrey after the season, following 15 years main the Hawkeyes program. Iowa hasn’t superior previous the primary weekend of the NCAA Match since 1999.
