Mammoth and June Mountains will stay closed in the present day to mitigate storm-related hazards. Mammoth was closed yesterday as nicely after two ski patrollers had been caught in an avalanche on Lincoln Mountain at 7:30am (previous to the resort’s scheduled opening). One patroller sustained critical accidents and was transported out of the world for additional care, the second patroller was evaluated with attainable damaged bones. Mammoth and June Mountains will stay closed on Saturday, December 27 to permit mountain operations and patrol groups time to mitigate storm-related hazards throughout your entire mountain. We’ve got acquired heavy snowfall and excessive winds during the last a number of days. Please don’t entry the Ski Space throughout this closure so our groups can work with out interference. Though we all know our visitors are desirous to ski and experience, we ask in your cooperation and understanding following this storm cycle.
