The American Hockey League is saddened to be taught of the passing of Mark Kirton, who died Sunday following a brave battle with ALS. He was 67.
Kirton, who performed 480 AHL video games with New Brunswick, Adirondack, Fredericton and Newmarket between 1978 and 1989, was recognized with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis – also called Lou Gehrig’s Illness – in 2018.
