The Rays introduced plenty of roster strikes earlier than tonight’s collection opener towards the Dodgers (relayed by Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Instances). Most notably, first baseman Jonathan Aranda is headed to the 10-day injured checklist with a left wrist fracture. Tampa Bay reinstated Ha-Seong Kim from his personal IL stint and recalled infielder Tristan Grey from Triple-A Durham. Deadline acquisitions Griffin Jax and Hunter Feduccia have reported to the workforce and shall be energetic tonight as effectively. The Rays designated earlier backup catcher Matt Thaiss for project and optioned lefty Joe Rock and lately acquired outfielder Everson Pereira to Triple-A.
