The San Antonio Spurs have employed Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Sean Sweeney as their new affiliate head coach below Mitch Johnson. Sweeney has been a candidate for a number of head teaching jobs up to now, and is taking over an elevated position with the Spurs.
Sweeney has spent the final 4 years with the Mavericks, as he joined the workers when Jason Kidd was employed in 2021. Previous to that, Sweeney had labored for the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons.
