CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — The entry record for the 58th annual version of the Western World Championships at Central Arizona Raceway has surpassed 52 drivers and automobiles.
Two-straight nights of USAC AMSOIL Dash Automotive Nationwide Championship and Avanti Home windows & Doorways USAC CRA Dash Automotive racing await on October 24-25.
Fifty-two are entered thus far, together with previous Western World winners Brady Bacon, Kyle Cummins, Daison Pursley, Jake Swanson and Logan Seavey.
USAC nationwide champions J.J. Yeley, Justin Grant and C.J. Leary have entered as have fellow USAC nationwide characteristic winners Kevin Thomas Jr., Hayden Reinbold, Mitchel Moles, Briggs Danner, Chase Stockon, Matt Westfall and Ryan Bernal.
Late mannequin racing star Ricky Thornton Jr. has filed his entry to compete as has reigning USAC CRA Dash Automotive champion and present level chief R.J. Johnson, plus high USAC Nationwide Dash Automotive Rookie Gunnar Setser.
The occasion on the three-eighths-mile dust oval pays $7,500 to Friday evening’s winner whereas Saturday’s finale will supply $35,000 to the winner, plus $15,000 in lap chief cash and a minimal of $1,000 to start out the characteristic.
