The Washington Wizards are planning to waive guard Dillon Jones. Washington had acquired Jones from the Oklahoma Metropolis Thunder this offseason.
The Wizards have been set to waive at the least one participant with a completely assured contract to get into common roster compliance by Monday’s deadline. Until he is claimed off waivers, Jones will rely for $2.7 million in useless cash on Washington’s cap sheet for the 2026-27 season.
