All-ECHL First and Second Groups introduced

The ECHL on Thursday introduced its All-ECHL First and Second Groups for 2025-26 as decided in a vote of ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations administrators and media, who had been requested to pick out a goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards.

2025-26 All-ECHL First TeamG – Cam Johnson, Florida Everblades (47 gp, 29-9-9, 1.86 GAA, .922 save pct.)D – Marcus Crawford, Kansas Metropolis Mavericks (69 gp, 14g, 72a, 86 pts.)D – Chad Nychuk, Atlanta Gladiators (66 gp, 8g, 45a, 53 pts.)F – Brandon Hawkins, Toledo Walleye (67 gp, 34g, 41a, 75 pts.)F – Danny Katic, Allen Individuals (60 gp, 37g, 32a, 69 pts.)F – Simon Pinard, South Carolina Stingrays (68 gp, 28g, 41a, 69 pts.)

The ECHL will announce the Neighborhood Service Award and Sportsmanship Award winners on Friday.

Cam Johnson of the Florida Everblades earns All-ECHL First Group honors for the second consecutive season. He’s 29-9-9 in 47 appearances this season. He leads the league this season in wins, goals-against common (1.86) and minutes performed (2,845) whereas rating fifth with a .922 save share.

Marcus Crawford of the Kansas Metropolis Mavericks is tops general within the ECHL with 72 assists, 86 factors, 33 power-play assists and 39 power-play factors. His +49 score is second within the league and his 14 objectives are essentially the most amongst defensemen.

Chad Nychuk of the Atlanta Gladiators is tied for third amongst defensemen with 45 assists and sixth with 53 factors in 66 video games.

Brandon Hawkins of the Toledo Walleye earns All-ECHL First Group honors for the fourth consecutive season. He’s second within the league with 34 objectives and 75 factors and tied for second with 31 power-play factors whereas his 292 photographs on aim lead the league.

Danny Katic of the Allen Individuals leads the ECHL with 37 objectives and is tied for fifth with 69 factors in 60 video games this season. His 10 power-play objectives are tied for third and he’s tied for twelfth with six game-winning objectives.

Simon Pinard of the South Carolina Stingrays is tied for fifth within the league with 69 factors (28g-41a) in 68 video games whereas rating second with 9 game-winning objectives.

Jack LaFontaine of the Kansas Metropolis Mavericks is 22-2-3 in 28 appearances this season. He’s second within the ECHL with a 1.98 goals-against common and .929 save share whereas he’s tied for second with 4 shutouts.

Jordan Sambrook of the Florida Everblades leads the league in plus-minus at +60 whereas he’s tied for eighth amongst defensemen with 46 factors (9g-37a) in 70 video games this season.

Nikita Sedov of the Bloomington Bison is tied for second amongst league blueliners with 13 objectives, is tied for fourth with 45 assists and is second with 58 factors. His three game-winning objectives are tied for fifth and his three power-play objectives are tied for seventh amongst defensemen.

Danny Dzhaniyev of the Utah Grizzlies, who was named to the ECHL All-Rookie Group yesterday, leads rookies – and is tied for third general – with 73 factors. His 49 assists are tops amongst first-year gamers and his 24 objectives are tied for seventh. Dzhaniyev additionally leads rookies with 291 photographs on aim, 22 power-play assists and 24 power-play factors.

Brendan Hoffmann of the Idaho Steelheads ranks fourth within the ECHL with 32 objectives in 44 video games, regardless of being loaned to San Jose of the American Hockey League since Feb. 13. His eight game-winning objectives are tied for third within the league.

Brannon McManus of the Adirondack Thunder is tied for sixth within the league with 30 objectives whereas rating seventh with 65 factors in 69 video games. The Most Priceless Participant on the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Basic is also tied for third with eight game-winning objectives.
