Evan Dunfee set a world 35km race stroll report on the Dudince 50 on Saturday (March 22) in Slovakia.
The Canadian’s 2:21:40 was seven seconds inside the two:21:47 set by Masatora Kawano of Japan in October in Takahata.
Dunfee race walked solo from gun to tape in Dudince, Slovakia, with constant four-minute plus kilometre splits all through and lapping your entire discipline of 51.
The 34-year-old gained bronze medals within the 50km on the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and 2019 World Championships in Doha, plus 10km gold on the 2022 Commonwealth Video games in Birmingham.
